Teleteg indexes only publicly available information from Telegram channels and groups — the same data visible to any Telegram user without authentication: channel names, usernames, descriptions, member counts, language, and activity metrics. We do not collect private messages, personal user data, or any information from private communities.
We actively moderate what the platform surfaces. Communities that violate Telegram's terms of service, promote illegal content, or exist to facilitate harm are excluded from our index. We maintain a content policy and enforce it through both automated filtering and manual review.
